Want to Join the Team?
We are always looking for new members to join us! Whether you have worked in a professional bike shop, fix bikes at home, or have no experience (as is how many currently on the team started out), we'd love to chat with you about your background and shared enthusiasm for biking and sustainability. For those with little to no experience, the team hosts a mechanics workshop on a term-by-term basis (usually in the winter), whereby upon completion, you are eligible to apply and become a mechanic yourself. For those with more experience or just can't wait for the next mechanics course to roll around, feel free to drop by the shop to talk with us during our open shop hours or one of our appointment hours (found in the Location and Hours page) where you can volunteer and learn to fix some of the bikes in our fleet, or send us a message through our contact form. If we think you're ready to join, we'll send your name along to Marcus Welker, our manager and Assistant Director in the Sustainability Office, who will be in further contact!
